Programmio builds club apps

Your club gets its own app.Not a login to someone else’s.

One place for who's coming, who's in what, what you own, what's broken and what has to stay current. It carries your name, your colours and your logo, and it sits on your members' home screens. We build it, we run it, you use it.

One app. Six clubs. Pick one and watch it change.

Clubs shown are invented. See the note at the bottom.

A working illustration, not a screenshot. Every club gets its own themed app with all of this; the live layout adapts to each screen.

Who it's for

Three people have to like it, and they want different things.

A parent wants three taps and no password reset. A coach wants to know the numbers before they leave home. A secretary wants to open one screen at 9pm and know the club is covered. An app that only satisfies one of them gets deleted, ignored, or quietly replaced by a spreadsheet.

Members, parents, students

Simple enough that everyone actually uses it.

If they have to be trained, it has failed. They open it, see what's on, answer, and get told when something changes.

  • See the week and answer in one tap.
  • Hear that something is off without waiting on a group chat.
  • Say they're running late, with an ETA.
  • See what they've earned and what comes next.
  • Turn notifications down for a week without leaving.
  • One account across every club app they're in, not one per club.
Coaches and instructors

Fewer people standing around waiting to find out.

The job is hard enough without counting heads in the dark. Know the numbers the night before, know the changes on the morning, and get told about a clash before it becomes an argument.

  • Who has answered, who hasn't, and how many that makes.
  • Put people into groups and claim the gear in the same place.
  • Warned when a boat, mat or room is claimed twice, and never blocked.
  • See who is late and who has pulled out, on the day.
  • Call it off once, and everyone due there knows.
Secretaries and committees

Serious enough that the club stops living in one person's head.

The reason it stays is not the roster. It's that the incident, the expiring check and the cracked gear are in one place, each with a name and a date on it.

  • See what lapses next month, before it lapses.
  • Incidents recorded at the time, by the person who was there.
  • Damage reported on the spot becomes a job with an owner.
  • Every action carries who did it and when.
  • When the secretary stands down, none of it leaves with them.

What's inside

Everything the club already does on a whiteboard, a group chat and a spreadsheet.

Not a messaging app with a calendar bolted on. It uses one plain set of words that suit any club, and your own content fills them in. Your groups, your gear, your sessions, your people.

SESSIONS

Who's coming

Post once, repeat for the term. People tap yes or no. Whoever's running it knows the number before they leave home.

SQUADS

Who's in what

Whatever you call your groups goes in here. Put people in the night before. Claim the boat, mat or room they need, and it warns you if that resource is already taken, without ever blocking you.

EQUIPMENT

What you own

Every item, with purchase and insurance details on it. Claim one for a session so nobody turns up to find it gone.

MAINTENANCE

What's broken

Reported from a phone where it's standing, with a photo. It lands with whoever fixes things, not in a group chat at 9pm.

INCIDENTS

What happened

Incidents and near misses recorded at the time, by the person who saw it, then triaged and signed off.

COMPLIANCE

What has to stay current

Working with vulnerable people checks, accreditation, first aid, registrations, insurance. Flagged before they lapse.

RECOGNITION

What people have earned

Awards, levels and grades on a profile, given by someone with the authority, with the date it happened.

MESSAGES

Say it once

To one group or the whole club. Call something off and everyone due there knows in seconds, without anyone keeping a phone list up to date.

Why this is different

Most club apps are a diary with a chat window. The part that keeps a committee awake is the part they leave out.

Incidents, risk, maintenance and expiring credentials are the club's legal spine, and they are the reason a volunteer secretary lies awake. They are built in from the start here, in Australian terms, not sold as a module later.

  • 01Working with vulnerable people registrations tracked and flagged before they lapse.
  • 02Incidents and near misses reported at the time, by the person who was there.
  • 03Every action carries the name of who did it and when they did it.
  • 04Policies and documents held with review dates, so the version people see is the current one.
  • 05An asset register with insured value, model and year on every item, club-owned or a member's own gear brought under the club's cover.

Not just sport

If a group of people turn up somewhere, at a time, with gear that matters, it fits.

There is nothing about any one activity in the middle of it. A school band has rehearsals, instruments worth more than a boat, a working with vulnerable people obligation and a committee that dreads the roll. So does a dojo, a ballet school, a surf club, a scout troop and a debating squad. Same app, your club inside it.

Sporting clubs

Training, teams, fixtures, gear.

School programs

One app per program, per season.

Bands and ensembles

Rehearsals, instruments, tours.

Studios and dojos

Classes, grades, gradings.

Volunteer bodies

Rostered duty and patrols.

Anywhere people gather

To train, practise, rehearse or patrol. If there's a roster and gear, it fits.

Pricing

Thirty dollars a month plus GST. That's the whole price list.

No per-member fee, no setup fee, and no tiers. A club of 12 and a club of 200 cost the same, because they cost us the same.

$33per month, per club, including GST

$30 plus GST

Billed monthly in advance. First month free. Cancel any time. Your member register, asset register and incident history all export.

If an invoice goes unpaid we contact you first. After 30 days the app may go read only, and after a further 60 days it may be removed and the data deleted. Every export keeps working the whole time.

  • Your name, your colours, your logo
  • Unlimited members, coaches and admins
  • Notifications to members' phones
  • One account per person, whatever else they belong to
  • Every improvement we make, as we make it

A school running several programs gets one app per program, each one clean and each one $30 plus GST. Ask and we'll talk it through properly rather than sell you a bundle.

Tell us the club and we'll set it up with your name, your colours and your logo on it, so you can show the committee something real. That costs nothing and takes about a day.

Have your logo handy as an SVG or a high-resolution PNG and we'll set it up properly. We only use these details to set up and talk to you about your club app. See our privacy policy for how we handle them. Privacy policy.
